Default PSE 2019 Problems

Editing my first pictures with it tonight, tried uploading and keep getting an error saying I need to use a proper .JPG extension... from everything I can see the file has been saved fine and has no issues. Uploaded to Flickr just fine. Anyone else run into this issue? Thanks!

I personally have had a problem with those trying to tell us to turn railroad photography into an "art form." It's fine for them to do so, I welcome it in fact, but what I do have a problem with is that the practitioners of the more "arty" shots, I have found, tend to look down their nose's at others who are shooting more "mundane" shots.
Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG

I would re-save the photo from another editor such as IrfanView just to be certain. IrfanView alerts you if an extension is incorrect.

"Often times problem jpegs can be opened using camera raw like the image posted in this thread."

From an online Adobe thread. Bob

When processing i open everything in RAW, most processing can be done there, easy to adjust white balance, exposure and level. Work with sliders and or auto plus noise reduction. Does not need to be a RAW image.

As an aside, not sure where it was saved from or why it is going to be processed in PE but general idea is to work from original, a TIFF or PSD, every time a file is saved as a jpg the quality suffers from the save compression process. When you process in RAW the original file is not modified, there is a side cart with your changes so another advantage to RAW
