Default Composition/Balance?

What exactly am I missing here? Is there too much greenery? Do they want a vertical crop? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'd appeal it.... if you get a different screener it should get right in. If not, you may have to recompose and put the engine to the first third of the photo. It clearly follows the rule of thirds but it would seem at least one screener has a distaste for the center third.

Save an appeal on this one and recrop. Train is centered left to right in this shot. I might consider a vertical crop as all of the interst in this one is in the center of the frame.

A shot to be referenced in the future for high sun and poor image quality rejections!

As someone said in these forums not too long ago, phrased differently here because I don't remember the working, if there is high sun, get higher so the sun is still coming somewhat over your shoulder.

And I have noticed that RP seems to be more flexible on high sun this year. Has anyone observed that also or is it just me?

(Please don't throw my own recent high sun shots back in my face. )

Haha thanks for the direct shotgun blast. At least you were direct to the point about it.

Well, perhaps you can ask them about it. Just don't use the "contact us" link or you'll never hear back...

It's all Troy's fault. Since his return he's been rubbing off on me.

It's cool. I'm a firm believer that one can't polish a turd. The image looked a little off to me; I didn't think it was going to make it. These days though, I take what victories I can get.
