Default Is It That Poor ?

Another reject to join the growing pile - this one got done for poor image quality

I'd be the first to admit that it's not brilliant,but it was taken in 1965.

Any thoughts ?

The focus is a little soft, but it's a really interesting picture. As far as your "growing pile" of rejects - maybe we should have a contest to see who has the highest....

I should point out that,having lost the original negative,I scanned a postcard sized print that I'd kept to get this image.
Didn't think it turned out too badly,but obviously it's RPs call.
Another print I had to scan was this one -
