Default Oversharpened

I can't see it, but like I've said a thousand times before my eyes are useless at close quarters anyway. Normally I have to sharpen the bejeezus out of things until they look all jaggy as hell on my monitors or they get kicked for undersharpened. I tried looking at it with glasses and even a big magnifying glass but I don't see any jaggies or halos at all on this one. Is it worth going back and sharpening it less, or just pass on it?

Looks like a heavily cropped-in, maxed-out tele shot. I'm surprised you did not get PIQ.

Looks like you went too heavy on the noise reduction, or cropped a tiny rectangle out from a bigger scene. The image quality is extremely poor in this version.

It was a bit of a crop. This version better, worse, or no different? Image quality still crap? If so I'll give up now as opposed to fruitlessly keep trying...

Better enough to resubmit, or still not worth it?

I see color noise you need to work new copy. I had a hard time getting snowy shots in like this every thing has to be just so. It may make it ?

This latest was freshly worked from the original. I can try to do some noise reduction, but I don't have high hopes. Thanks for the input, and Merry Christmas!

Let it steep for awhile then submitted the less sharpened version with a touch of noise reduction. It worked:

Thanks again and a Happy New Year to all!
