Can't either Chris just block his IP? There's more than defamatory comments against the site but also the contributors, viewers and creators. Just ignoring the "not about me", drama infested , attention wanting inbred won't do. He keeps going. To even this playing field an IP block would seem to be the best path. Im sure there's some network gurus here. Not me anymore....I got out of the networking hell a long time ago.

With someone that "devoted" he would probably get around the IP Ban in 5 seconds.

If people this motivated would do other things, we'd have a better world, folks.

Am I the only one not surprised to see that Daniel DiFiore is one of the Rat's followers?

I've not been posting in here, because let's be honest - that's what he wants - but I think a very good point was brought up, and I'm going to speak directly to Dean... Bro, put the effort you put into your RP mission into something actually productive and you will come out a year from now with a novel, a new train room on your house, or a cherry 1968 Camaro. Honestly, I have no idea what your passion is, but I'm sure you have one - something you'd love to say you did - put the effort and obsession (yes, I said it) into that thing that you put into telling all of us that we kiss Starnes and Kilroys' tokus (is the plural toki?) and you will have something to be proud of. Just do it, dude...

If he really hates RP so much; do the American thing.

Open a competing website.

If you really think RP is shit; open up a website, and host the pictures you think are good.

Then see who is more popular.

That used to be the American way. Now we just bitch and waste potential.

The 1st grade honor student, for some reason though I doubt everyone on the list is a "follower", alot of people just find it mildly amusing entertainment.

I personally have had a problem with those trying to tell us to turn railroad photography into an "art form." It's fine for them to do so, I welcome it in fact, but what I do have a problem with is that the practitioners of the more "arty" shots, I have found, tend to look down their nose's at others who are shooting more "mundane" shots.
Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG

People like this are why I've basically into hiding in recent years. I avoid most other railfans like the plague, going so far as to just drive right past a location if another railfan is already there, or completely ignoring others during some of the bigger chases. Some consider me to be an asshole for these actions, but I've run into enough people in this hobby who are a few french fries short of a Happy Meal. I mean, it's just a hobby -- we take photos of trains because we enjoy it...and yet so much artificial drama, competitiveness, overinflated egos, and some who are just completely off their rocker always seem to creep into the mix. The whole thing has started to feel like high school revisited for me, and I don't mean that in a good way...

Holy cow. I thought I was the only railfan who thought like that. In fact I just commented to someone here at RP those exact same sentiments recently in email...
