Default Going Unnoticed

Alright, I'm gonna try something new. Instead of posting pics that we don't like and trashing them, maybe we can try to post pics that we do like.

But, I want to see photos that have seemingly gone unnoticed or did not get what they deserved.

Here is 2 I can think of right off the top of my head:

Are there any that you have seen that you think deserve more?

21 favorites, 1,700+ views is an image gone unnoticed?

As for this one -

It didn't go unnoticed, it simply is missing a link to FB.

In my opinion, yes. 21 favorites isn't exactly a lot. Lol. But I also added: "didn't get what it deserved," in regards to a PCA, screener's choice, bla bla.....

*Sarcasm* Troy has issued a verdict. You heard him, Starnes and Kilroy, you must remove these photos immediately.

There's no rule against well lit wedges and in regards to the first shot, it's the rule violation that make the photo - and consequently, the site, interesting.

They might want to take another look at Charlie Harris's pic, however. That might aggravate the next patron whose image is rejected for being less then a half a percent unlevel.

I dont really have a problem with either shot. Just in regards to the first one, they seemingly selectively apply the "backlit" rejection to shots like that sometimes

Really Troy? christ people here literally cant go a thread without trying to justify why a picture shouldnt be on the site. this thread is not about tearing down a photo, its about personal PCA's, if you will. Wow.

It's fine for them to do so, I welcome it in fact, but what I do have a problem with is that the practitioners of the more "arty" shots, I have found, tend to look down their nose's at others who are shooting more "mundane" shots.
Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG

Except you clearly did miss the point Troy. You don't need to play "the dick" at every opportunity. It's the internet. You aren't a hardass. You aren't intimidating. It's trains, grow up a little bit.

I think some of you take me too literally or seriously sometimes. That's the honest truth. If you think I am trying to be intimidating, you are entirely missing the point of my posts.

You know guys, if you wanna turn this into a thread with a 1000 replies and upwards of 30,000 views, I'm cool with that.

I think I just realized that my sense of humor, wit and schtick escapes some of you... I will leave this thread alone, we dont need another one of these.

In fact I might just take a little vacation from this place, it might do us all some good.
