Accepted version is better. You cut out some of the dead space on the left hand side of the frame that was doing nothing for the overall scene.

Just to confuse you... I'd like something between... a little more on the left, but not as much as the rejected version.

Same loco, same location, very similar composition only a few weeks apart. I wouldn't be surprised if a similar to previous rejection comes next...especially since you made it so easy to find.

Hi Don, I prefer first one ... more focus on train, second more a beautful landscape overall view. Regards, Peider

The accepted one. I would reprocess it to remove some blue saturation. Common on scans of slides.

Well, It IS the same photo. The rejected on was rejected for cropping. The accepted one was accepted AFTER I cropped it..... Obviously, one of the dates is wrong.
That is how you're supposed to do this, correct?

It seems like it's just dead space your editing out.
Dead space doesn't really add anything.

I think Kevin thought you were trying to get the other shot on as a second view of the same train, whereas you are just asking about the crop ex post, just out of curiosity.

Ding...ding...ding. I misunderstood the inquiry of the thread. Disregard my previous post.

Nah, I saw the year difference too. I just meant 2 weeks apart in the same season of different years, but it is moot now.
