Default New Heritage Scheme unveiled....

On Friday Sep 8th, the ET&WNC RR unveiled thier locomotive #12 wearing "heritage" paint and lettering that had not been used in many years. The gathered employees and invited guest all seem to agree that this is perhaps the best of all the recent heritage paintings that they had seen so far. To celebrate the event, the RR opened up the property to railfans on Sep 9th and 10th and ran the locomotive in special service for the benefit of the photographers. Check the links below for a couple of pics of the event.

Sorry to report that we where not allowed to photograph the tarp before the unveiling....as said tarp would melt.

#12 surely does look sharp in that scheme. It's simple and classy, much better looking that some another unnamed railroad's "heritage" schemes. It's just a shame y'all couldn't get a picture of the tarp. I would've enjoyed seeing that photo.

Did you disrupt a photo line or something?

Yes she does, heritage schemes should only be applied to engines that actually served on the schemes line, as #12 did. Its kind of difficult to put a tarp on a steam locomotive, but maybe we can photoshop one in for you Caleb.

Nope, just figured when Heritage Scheme is mentioned, had to have a Phoamer moment.

Sorry for the double post, dunno what happened.

CG_F45, the pics were taken by a friend, but #12 sure does look good.
