And just so I don't get off topic.....

I don't like the shot. Sorry. But it's just really....ick. Cool backwards wedgie, I kinda actually like that angle looking to the front of the train from the front of the frame instead of it being in your face. That's about the only thing I like. Crap weather, crap dust, crap photo, let it GO!

I agree... When I was 16 I was banned from here because I knew everything. Obviously a few years does the trick. I'm always asking people "does this look good?" "Would this make it?"

CR;

I actually like the shot. It has a "classic" feel to it. I'm not sure if it's light enough in regards to the shot and it night be "too cloudy" for RP. I think most of us wish we could shoot things other than standard wedgies, but sometimes the wedgie is the best way to go.

This is a good shot, in my opinion. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Same **** different day for you Chicago Railfan, give us something new and exciting.
Aside from the dust spot, which really was a big deal, truth be know, CR, what you said is subjective, Steven. I don't think the lighting is "terrible," though it is far from ideal and RP would likely reject it for that. The subject is cool too me. (Pictures rarely "excite" me, but I like the Santa Fe cab.) And I, for one, like the B&W. Like I said, it's subjective.

If you know CR is a young guy who might possibly have a chip on his shoulder, some respponsibility must be with you -- and for that matter, me -- to give him a little rope before we start with the "same **** different day" comments. Likewise, why does CR have to give us anything, much less "something new and exciting."
