Post Trip to Maine and Eastern Canada

We are taking a trip to Maine and Eastern Canada and I had a few questions.

I have been wanting to stop at the Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad for the past few years and this is the best opportunity. Do any of you know a schedule for this railroad or if they are using the steam engine this year?

What are some good lines to railfan up by the U.S./Canada border and up into New Brunswick and Nova Scotia?

Waht are some good spots in Halifax? And how many trains are there usually in a day?

Are there any trains that run onto Cape Breton Island and into Sydney?

Thanks for any help,
