I don't see any color cast. Too contrasty IMO.

(Wouldn't it be interesting to know what the screeners view submissions on?)

I agree, I guess I'll reduce contrast, correct sharpness and give her another swing!

Thanks!

The shot didn't get past the RP minefield- "overprocessed" they said.
I'll rework it when I get around to it.

I suggest reducing sharpness a smidgen, resubmitting, and then if it gets rejected again, appeal it and just tell them the year it was taken. They may have not realized that it is an old photo or something.

You have a version of this shot already on, why are you pushing another which is about the same?

I'll third that! Especially like the night work, and the Hainesburg Jct. material.

Great Regrets Department: hiking to Hainesburg Junction and discovering only two frames left in the camera.
Could have shot a dozen easily.

Yes. This. Same thing I asked on a Facebook question about this reject. The better shot is already on.

Similar regrets: I went to high school in Pen Argyl in the mid-'70s. Saw much of the L&NE's remaining infrastructure on a daily basis, but never recorded any of it. Also hiked Hainesburg Junction, and may have one or two photos.
