Default What do you think?

I submitted this photo a few minutes ago and am wondering what your opinions, comments or suggestions on it are. Do you think it will make it in? Thanks ahead of time!

Train's a little too far away. I think this one will be hit with the "Bad Cropping" reasoning. There is just too much dead space on the sides. I understand you were going for the color on the trees, waiting until the lead engine was head on to you would have been a better bet. You have any where the train is closer? I'm also a stickler for the rule of thirds, so the fact the train is in the middle threw me off of this pic as well.

Yes, I have a shot closer, but it didn't come out very good. This one was one of the best I could do. I do have a good zoomed completely out shot of the train though, but I am worried I might get the high-sun rejection.

I live exactly 16 miles from that spot, though I am usually heading north, not south around that area, but it would be an easy drive back there again.

Guess what, both of them were rejected for bad angle. I thought the second one would go for backlit. Interesting!

And don't link to queued photos-they don't stay long.

Sorry about that.

I appealed the first one, stating that I was attempting to get the fall colors in, but the appeal was rejected. I guess I will let this go.
