If Jean-Marc Frybourg is in the majors, I'm pinch hitting in the Coastal Plain League. Wht an awesome shot.

Certainly challenging lighting conditions.

Awesome, really detailed caption too.

Great photo and perfect placing of the lorry - a feat he also achieved in the same location 4 days earlier! Wow that's one lucky dude...

The light might likely be easy to work with as it would be very even and low contrast (no direct sun.) Southern Peru and northern Chili are on my short list of places to visit, and this shot only makes me want to bump it up higher.

Agreed. Definitely favorable light for this location.

He used to be on these forums, and just before taking a trip to SA he offered that he had room to bring some others along. With kids and a job I couldn't really just jump at the offer, but over the period since I've just sat in awe at the flood of amazing photos and amazing sites that have come through, I think mostly from that trip.

I should say that this was discussed on another forum and Jean-Marc has actually stated that the engines stopped on the bridge for his pictures, hence the perfect timing.
