Oh they are used to that - the gas station workers in Oregon.

They just look at your plate (if from California) and they just tell you that they need to pump the gas.

I just find it funny that if the law in Oregon is for safety reasons (which is the alleged reason it was enacted) then at least half of the people in California would have been burned while fueling their cars - because California unequivocally holds the U.S. monopoly on vehicular related stupidity, and there are a lot of us.

Consequently, since there are not very many service station accidents in CA, the Oregon law is ridiculous.

But hey, it is Oregon and that is a whole different country.

I dont know, I think Florida could give Cali a run for it's money on that. We seem to have the worst drivers from the 49 other states move here and retire. And I dont ever recall in my entire life an accident where someone's car caught fire when refueling.
