I'm also a fan of anything Third Reich... I'd really love to have one of these! (Rail-capable VW Kubelwagen during WWII)

Intresting photo. Is there anything under there to actually hold it to the rails, or do the tires just sit on top?

Had a flanged insert mounted behind the wheels, according to the caption. It would've just sat atop the rails like any given vehicle.

Very cool, I am a air cooled VW fan myself. Never seen this variant of the Kubelwagen, looks neat!
