Default CITX SD70M-2's

Does anyone have info on the SD70M-2's that CIT recently bought? (140-142)

Who are they going to be leased to, and how many are they going to buy?

From what I understand, the 3 CITX SD70M-2s were the original EMDX demo units. Not sure who's lines they're primarily going to be running on though...

From what I understood, those 3 CEFX SD70M-2's are now leased to the UP.

They are the GMDX units, but I heard they are on the BNSF and not the UP.

FYI: CP has CEFX 1001-1025 (bluebird AC44), these are soon to be roaming the BNSF (sigh! more boring up here!) and CEFX 120-139 (marron MAC) are going to go to the UP. The other SD9043AC's are already leased to Union Pacific. These will most likly continue to roam the CPR after the entire fleet shifts to UP as they are mainly used the the corridor where CP exchanges to the UP between Alberta/British Columbia - Idaho

Hopefully that helps

With the new new ES44AC's, I figured CP would end the lease on some CEFX units. Is CP keeping the second set of AC44's? (Up to 1059)

Theses 3 SD70M-2's are currently on lease to BNSF, I've seen quite a few photos of them on BNSF trains. One photo was with all 3 leading a BNSF train.

You can't railfan CPR's D&H without seeing a CEFX AC4400 at least once a day, if not twice.
