Default Ugh......

This is a great photo, why'd they reject it? This is obviously not poorly cropped because I didn't edit it at all! They (the screeners) always expect perfect photos, jeez! Whoops, there I go again ().

Reason(s) for Rejection:

- Bad Cropping: Most often this means that the composition of the photo is poor as it relates the cropping of the image

Probably because of the angle. The entire engine isn't in the photo, and thus they considered it as being "poorly cropped". I've had numerous photos rejected for this reason as well.

Well, I don't believe a screener has any way of knowing whether you edited a photo or not (except in the case of digital manipulation). However, it looks like in your composition of the photo that you cut off the tender, which usually is a part of a steam locomotive. You can appeal and explain, but if it was composed this way, I doubt much can be done to save it for RP. This doesn't make a it bad photo by any means though.

Looks good. I think it will get accepted, but the cropping is a little too tight. Try giving the engine a "little more room to breathe" and let us know if it gets accepted or not.

thats iffy, your shot it on the shadow side, so it might get rejected for bad lighting

Like bnsf sammy said, you were on the shadowed side (Backlit). The other side of the tracks would have worked out better here. It's still a nice shot.

Appeal rejected, dang. They pushed (or clicked) the wrong button!
