It looks like the interior of a bus.

Rejected for bad motive? If so, the only thing you can do is appeal the photo.

It looks like something you would see at JetPhotos.net with the interior of passenger jets. Maybe RP.net should start accepting photos of the nature. Just a though.

There's nothing I can do about it. If it looks like a bus doesn't mean it is a bus.
Please give a valid reason.

Nothing really stands out as being railroad oriented which people who don't ride commuter trains on a daily basis can relate to. As for a valid reason, I think it's just not in RP.net screener's taste. Maybe if you could show something of rail interest through a window it would stand a better chance.

It is a nice photo . . . I have no problem with that, and with the outside light coming in, it is even a somewhat hard photo to do correctly. So one would have to just look at it as not railroad enough. Seperate the two, a reject does not mean it is ever a "BAD" photograph. It just means it is not in vouge at the time. Styles change, needs do too. File it away and save it for the right time and place. It will come . . .

Did you know before seeing this picture how the interior of a Go Train looked like? Is there nobody in this site who would be curious about it? Or is the site flooding with these pictures?

I guess I am confusing myself with JetPhotos.

Personally? Yes, I've been on a few. Also have ridden Amtrak in the US, ICE trains in Germany and since I'm in Japan right now, I'm pretty familiar with the JR Line bullet trains and the dozens of different commuter cars running between Nagoya and Toyota City. In fact, here's the view outside my room right now.

My point was that it just isn't what the screeners on this site have been know to accept in the past and it is up to them to decide what gets posted. I guess I just spend too much time on commuter trains so it doesn't interest me but it is a great shot none-the-less.

Well, I am not a screener, so don't take my word as gospel. There have only been a few interior shots of passenger cars on RP.net that I have seen. But they were obviously railcars; and had some historical value.

No, I haven't been on a GO train or other commuter trains. And I am sure there are some people who are curious about the interior. Although the map isn't close enough to see; there are no insignias on the seats; and, a fence and woman walking aren't railroad related.

Valid comment: Bad motive.

Now I somewhat understand my rejection.May be I should have known better. This explains why the site is called railpictures and not trainpictures. Correct me if I am wrong? I still have to get used to this site.
Thanks for all your comments.

Are there conductors on GO trains? Maybe you could catch one assisting a passenger in the car.

Are the cars joined so that passengers can walk through the train? If so, grab the same kind of shot, but use the door to show the next car as well.

If you are lucky enough, get a picture from the inside of another train pulling up along side.

As Ken pointed out, it is a good quality photo. Just some suggestions. If you don't get something that RP accepts, be happy with what you shoot.

I think a more artistic take on the shot may have just got it in the database. Maybe taking a few steps back which would get more of the seats in. Also, I may would have crouched down to get a lower angle. Photography should be showing people what they might not normally see. Sometimes that can't always be possible, so showing them the same thing at a different angle or perspectiv might be what gets that type off shot into RP.

Just something to chew on.
