This may not seem like big deal but I had this image which had 2 sets of rejections but emboldened by some other night acceptances I gave it another try. I realize the idea, why go through all the trouble of reprocessing but it was an image I had an attachment to. I had wanted to get a train here, waited till I heard of the run so was hard just to give up. Small victory I guess but still.....

I'm guessing you played with "hue" so much in photoshop to get rid of the sodium vapor light tint that it looks like the headlight and ditch lights are blue, almost an LED type tint

Me thinks if this wasnt a heritage unit it would have gotten the big R...

I'm glad you stuck with it and got it accepted. Far more interesting than all the sunny wedges we see everyday (including mine). Great location, well worth the wait.

Probably right on both counts. Tho, I wouldn't call it playing as The final step(of several) for hue was another layer to reduce the orange toward the street and ballast without affecting the engine.

Personally I didn't want to go that far, ie liked it warmer(and darker) but that is the rules I had to work with. It is not that I am not aware of the engine lights going too cool. Shooting a moving train with only street lights and no flash presents tradeoffs. I would note more places are going with street level LED(??) which are very cool temp wise.

I see that as well, although the ditch lights look two different colors.
