I'd put this one on Flickr, Dave. The railroad content is on the marginal side. If you had posted it here first and asked for opinions, I would have advised against submitting it.

I also would have advised against getting too emotionally attached to anything you submit here.

I like it. Not sure it would fit in here, but interesting none the less.

What does that have to do with not fitting in on RP?

I like the photo but you have to read the caption to be appreciated as it does not fit into what we are familiar with. I think that is a good thing, not a photo where I say, "I know where that is, I know what that is, I think I know who shot it and I have seen something very similar 999 times.

My take is that as the site reaches toward the 1 million sold, many of them very similar I think it would be good to widen the net a little little on what is acceptable "What we want to publish."

If you have to read the caption to figure out what the hell is depicted, I think the photo misses the mark...

If you have to ask what's depicted in a photo, you should consider reading the caption first.

I always remember this one because it showed up on the forum and I made some #?#@ comment about bridge supports, yea really.

A good post and informative but without reading the comment, not sure what railroad content could be determined simply by looking at the photo.
