Closest I've found Fat Tire is in the Chicago area. I bought a 6 pack in Kenosha, WI., last fall....drank one and gave the rest of it to a friend of mine who is a big fan of it.

I used to love amber beers, but all this hoppy stuff I drink has ruined my taste for them.

They sell it at the Krogers and at Wal-Mart in my area. Along with all the other New Belgium beers. 1554 is great too.

Hi all,

I personally was not aware of this upload until about 2 or so days after it was sent in. If I learned anything from this, it's that I probably shouldnt leave anything open during a party. I did not post the picture, as I'm not that type of person, and I respect people around me, whether I know them or not. It was a friend of mine who has always been a bit of a hater towards the site. He had a full night to do it and figured he'd take advantage of the free time. About 2 hours from start to finish.

I don't care if my pictures get rejected at all since I don't have a quality camera like other photographers on the site. For me, the railroad is simply a hobby, and what doesnt work out, doesnt work out, and thats the end of it. Maybe at somepoint I'll buy a DSLR and get a pic accepted on here, but for now Im not too worried. I submit a pic everyonce in a while if I think it may be accepted. Im still learning the do's and don'ts of photography.

So an appology for this whole mix-up. Im glad to hear you didnt get upset about it. If we could just put this all in the past that would be great.

Regards,

Bill Salton

Funny, I don't recall it being something that would have been done during a party, like a troll facebook update.

Yeah, although he wont make an account so I guess he figured it was his one shot at it. He's a bit "off" so to speak. Mostly a loner-not sure why he was there in the first place. Nothing I can do about it now though

If he is a little 'off' I sure the hell wouldn't wanna be anywhere near him, especially if he's been drinking! IMO

Yeah, really, retarded and alcohol? Isn't that like fueling an already out of control fire?

Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG

Still, introducing alcohol to someone who is a little off probably isn't going to end well.. Then again, perhaps a little bit of alcohol would do the rat some good.. Might loosen him up to the point that he actually says something good about RP.

That brings me to my next question, which in a way, is relevant to this thread. On a Friday night at 2am, why aren't you hanging out with that gorgeous girlfriend of yours?

I find that hard to believe for some reason.. At some point in the night, wouldn't you have at least went: ''Hey wtf are you doing on my computer?'' I would have..

I suppose he will show up on Obs Car next and then get banned after a month just like the original agitator.

I like how he didn't even clone or crop out the date on some of the photos.

Classic!

Lets sick Steven on him.

You know what is really ironic.......

The RAT did show up on ObsCar right after this and almost get banned.

Now, does anybody even remember what this photo looked like?

Since I don't remember and apparently did not save a copy, I will post a replacement of equal quality and relevance.

I havent been able to access the site or the forums until now. The picture got me banned for about 2 months. I wanted to clear this up.

I'm in no position to lie about it. I didnt expect anyone to be on the computer, so I didnt bother to check. People dont normally go looking through others' houses for something to play around with. I used to be close friends with him but that has since changed. He's not mentally challenged. He just has different ways of letting out his anger towards things. He has no friends so I can see how that may affect his mental state when it comes to dealing with anger.

I did a lot of crazy shit at parties in my younger days, but never was "getting on someone's computer, editing a bunch of railroad pictures and uploading them via someone else's account" one of them.

Regardless, you still revived a thread which had been dead for two months to say we should let things stay in the past. Oh, wait. Maybe someone else got in your computer and did that, too.

I also tend to be critical of reviving old threads, one of those little irritants of life at times, but in this case, the guy wanted to come back, months later but at his first opportunity, and explain and apologize in public. I see no need to criticize the guy. It all seems completely reasonable, no need in my view to nitpick his approach, no matter how much it differs from what you would have done.

Time for you, Joe, to put it all in your past.
