I like it. The only potential issues I see are those trees at the lower right obscuring parts of the lower train, and that little nub of hill cutting off the very bottom of the second UP unit. A picture taken a second or two later and leaving off the right side of the original would be better in my opinion.

Off topic, but you're so lucky to live in Southern California with Cajon Pass in your back yard and Tehachapi, Cima Hill, Afton Canyon, the BNSF and UP through the desert just a few hours away. Countless of interesting photo ops. Not saying I don't have any within a couple hours of me, but my hometown line is fairly bland and lacking in photo interest. Some day I'm going to take 2 weeks to go down to Socal, and shoot up a storm!

Putting aside RP standards, for my personal tastes, too much is obscured and the foreground is too busy - the bushes/weeds/whatever - to make it a good photo. And the mid-day light is too harsh. Doesn't work for me.

Obviously I took a bunch of others. During the summer this is impossible because the trees are full of foilage. Here's two others, one just after and one as it went through the cut.
