Default Hesitantly posting this..

I don't want to be one of those bozos that whine about everything. Those that know me know I really enjoy RP.net and wouldn't bash it.

However sometimes I see something that gets my goat.

I submitted this months ago because it was my first attempt at a night shot, and to my surprise it came out like this, rather than the standard moonlit wedgie.

http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?20...8431415825.jpg

(Note: The version I sent here was a much better and larger scan)

It was rejected for Bad Motive and rejected on appeal.

Today an almost identical photo got accepted..

That just kind of left me scratching my head. I know there are no conspiracies or anything like that but I'm just wondering about the inconsistency. Its that "Bad Motive" thing.

The only reason I posted this here is because if I resubmitted my photo, it would look like I copied the other pic, would be rejected for being to similar, and its not my best pic so I wouldn't send it again anyway..

Now no flames please. I'm not upset or going else where, I'm not trying to be nasty or bash RP.net, I'm just honestly baffled.

Ray's shot emphasizes the falling snow and I'm sure that is the reason he shot it. If it had just been the headlight/numberboards (as your shot is) it would have been rejected as well.

Thanks, Chris. I appreciate your word on this.

Your explanation is good enough for me.

Dave - I actually like your version better, looks like the UFO that came up behind Richard Dryfess on the country road in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"!!

Yea, UFO #3905. Night shots are tricky to get, I'm waiting to get my XT to start with real attempts at night shots.
