I'm having problems with grain when I resize my pictures. Does anyone know what causes this and how I go about getting rid of it? Thanks

(Only happens when I make the pictures smaller)

A number of things to check... What software are you using? What size are your photos to begin with? Did you use a low ISO?

Also you aren't saving and reopening files as jpegs as this can cause quality loss that can look like grain.
