Default Cropping (again)

Any help on this reject? It's a 2:3 crop... My thoughts is that it is too tight, especially on the bottom and the right. What do guys think?

Also, that shadow on the pedestrian bridge is pretty ugly... but this is with early morning sun... it only gets worse as the day goes on (the shot is looking west).

The crop is bad, but the shadow on the unit is what gets me. Maybe a shot where the train is further away and to the left? Even then the "going away" part detracts from the image IMO.

Also had this angle (a 5:4 horizontal crop) : http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...d=896627&key=0

the problem with this one is that I don't want to cut the pedestrian bridge... so I have to leave lots of sky... guess I'll have to try again.

To close to the edge of the picture and the lack of light on the engine's front may be an issue as well.

Do you have one where the train is closer to the fence in between the tracks?

If you can attempt the shot again I would try to catch an oncoming train on the opposite track.

Needs more on the right. If you have it give atleast some room over there.

Worked with another shot from the same session... less bridge, more train.

I like it better that the first two now:

Nice looking shot, Mathieu. I really like the "cool" color tone of this scene.
