Very simple, how old were you when you took your oldest photo on RP.net?
I was 10 when I took this one

Only in the past couple years have I started taking photos of any quality, but for my 200th photo in the database, I'm hoping to put on a shot that I took when I was 12.

Wow, you're only 16?? You must have had a good driver this past weekend for your 4449 shots. (looks like we were both on the 18th St bridge, too)

Not as young for me...39.

Good Driver = Me, believe it or not! I had a friend with but I ended up doing the driving, all 400 miles. It seems like I've gotten out less now that I have a license because everyone expects ME to drive to make up for all their driving me around, haha.
You were on 18th street? You and everybody else. I was in a green hoodie and I had glasses, if you even remember from all those people...

I've got numerous photos from when I was younger, but I didn't start taking photography seriously enough to get worthwhile shots until I was in college.

However, I have tens of thousands of slides to go through yet starting from 1994.... We'll see, I may need to update this sometime later....

I was 21 at the time when I started taking pictures of any quality or personal merit.

Started out with a Sony 2.0MP point & shoot camera, upgraded to a Canon S3 via a birthday gift and shoot with a Canon Rebel XSi today.

I've also met some really good people and have made some really good friendships through this enjoyable hobby.

Nothing too impressive from me... I've never tried to upload any of my old stuff because they quality isn't there. I only have a handful of stuff left as most of it was damaged in a flood back in the 90's.

But have loads of stuff going back to 1984 when I started taking photography seriously - I would hope that at least some of it (a very small proportion) would get on RP when I get time to scan it.

My "other half" was 18 when he took this

Might be able to find something very slightly earlier in our collection, but doubt it.

Funny thing, Andrew... I remember that day well... and thinking about what it would have been like to see Baby-Face Baldwins and FM Trainmasters, let alone the Reading Crusaders at that same location, but I was born too late.

I remember long ago, my Father took our family to a farm in upstate New York where he was anxious to show us a streamlined NYC Hudson in a barn. What a site that was! This was in the mid-seventies. I have a few pics but they are all backlit so I never bothered posting on RP.

Aside from those -

Earliest in the database - 1981
That'd make me 15 at the time:
Image © Mitch Goldman
PhotoID: 228545
Photograph © Mitch Goldman

Earliest that I know of - 1978
That'd have made me 12.
Not sure why it's fuzzy - could be the scan.
