There's a little bit on the front of the unit, but yes, they're definitely reaching...

I really don't think that its enough to warrant a rejection, but eh, their website. I guess you have more luck having photos accepted that ya run through the noise reduction software a few hundred times though haha, i.e.

It is kind of ridiculous. You can see it a bit in the top left corner. Should be fixable. Looks a bit underexposed to me?

I agree it's a tad underexposed and could use a little more saturation. I would not have noticed any noise had it not been pointed out to me. It's an odd shot to nit pick as it would be the first in of the Amtrak Veterans unit running.

Exclamation

If you can fix the grain problem, it should get in - light on the front looks good.

haha, its underexposed looking cuz its taken through filtered sunlight thanks to random clouds. and yeah, it would of been the first shot of it running, but now plenty of other people have shots of it up running anyway. and I'm sure they wanted to reserve that distinction for the official NS account anyway, right? Anyway, I don't sweat rejections, I have sold photos for decent money that have been rejected from here for trivial reasons. (if your near Chicago, you'll see one of my photos on a huge Amtrak banner in the Union Station great hall in a month or so)
