Here's a question I think most of us might appreciate answers to - vs extensive Google searches and lengthy often stupid (but some great) YouTube videos.

One of the things I did in LR that really sped things up or made LR much better is:

Presets, Mitch.

Once you figure out the changes that you typically make to those awful-looking, camera raw previews to get them looking decent, you will want to build those changes into a preset. Then, whenever you find a frame you want to work on, the very first change you make is to apply the preset. That will get the image looking roughly right and you can adjust on it from there.

LR works great for me. RAW looks good, the speed is good, the results are good.
I do use presets all the time, great time saver.

Image straightening / keystone cropping. Using the tool will eliminate 90% of unlevel horizon rejections.
