Not sure where you get "new" dash-9's from but here is the information I believe you are looking for:

ES44DC 5200-5501

CW44-9 9000-9052

Yeah, Dash-9s are so 2001. But the term "Dash-9" referred to any GE model type with the "-9" in the it. But commonly mistaken for a Dash-9 would include the C40-8CW C41-8CW C44-8CW's. These look very simular but are Dash-8s not Dash-9s. NS may have the same model type, but they are all C40s not C44s. There are also AC units, the AC4400CW and AC6000CW. These are AC units not Dash-9s. The last series of locomotives are the ES or Evolution series. The ES44DC and ES44AC units. The AC44,AC60 ES44s all have larger flared wings on the back. Its hard to explain, but sometimes its easier to call them all Dash-9s, esspeically after MSTS released the Dash-9 as the default locomotive in Train Simulator.
The Dash 9 series includes anything with a -9 in the model type, but unles you know the roster numbers its hard to tell. On CSX or CPR you can look for Radial trucks on their fleet of AC6000s, some AC4400s, and ES44s. Dash 9s and Dash 8s have spotting features too. You have to look at the trucks, 9's have spurts around the trucks, while Dash 8s dont. If makes any sense, I've just broken down the spotting features between the Dash-9 family and its mistakable cousins.

At the rate CSX is going, the GEVO's will probably go right on up to 5999. I strongly doubt they're done ordering these units.
