Cutting off less of the train would have helped, but you don't have a time machine to retake the shot. I think it issue is that the picture is a roster shot, under so-so lighting. Whether the subject matter is interesting enough to get past that is a question for someone else to answer.

You have a mass of dead space on the right. Trim some of it, but not too tight, and compensate your ratio from the bottom.
