Default Bad cropping help.

Can I get some help/advie from yall? Exactly how is this image "Bad Cropping"?

Could be a couple of things:

1) Too much sky.

2) Too close on the right.

3) Passenger car cut off.

Experiment around and see what you can do to correct one or all of those...

too much sky: I disagree
too close on the right: yup
passenger car cut off: I disagree - it's a roster shot, and something is coupled to the engine, it doesn't matter

I think it is too tight in general and certainly on the right. I would back off on all four sides or at least the three sides excluding the left, let it "breathe" more. Or at least the right, followed by the bottom, and then maybe or maybe not the top.

They might get you on "high sun", but I would take a shot anyways....you never know.

No way...look at the shadow of the chains on the nose. Not high sun, but definitely nose lit...
