Now that the Katy unit, UP 1988, is out, I'll bet the interest in the MoPac unit will be on the wane, but here is an update anyway.

For those of you near St. Louis and through Illinois this weekend, there will be a decent chance to catch it in daylight. It is on IHOYC 20, which departed Valentine, AR this afternoon at 17:55. It is scheduled into Dexter, MO at 00:35 Sunday and should be in Dupo around 05:45, leaving around 07:45, and arriving Yard Center sometime late Sunday evening.

As for the Katy unit, it is at Proviso today. Nobody has told me where it is going from there.

I believe UP 1988 is leaving Tuesday but don't know where.........at least thats what somebody told me.

It arrived in Proviso on MSSPR 19 today at 4 a.m.

All I'd like to know is when either UP 1982 and 1988 are leaving for sure and if they are headed towards Rochelle, IL or Clinton, IA anytime tomorrow.

By the way,I don't know the UP train IDs so If you know what train its on then just say its full name and not its "initials".

1982 will not be in Iowa tomorrow. It is coming up from Texas tonight and tomorrow on IHOYC 20, which is (I)ntermodal (HO)uston to (Y)ard (C)enter, going to Yard Center tomorrow evening. Unfortunately, I don't have any info on the future of 1982 or 1988. I get this info from a friend of mine. If I find anything out, I'll post it, but there is surely no guarantee.
