Personally, I hate having trains right up against the edge of the frame, about to exit. I would have kicked it out just for that.

It's gonna be a tough one, but personally, I'd leave your sky as-is and crop off some of the bottom. I like the cloud fill more than the vegetation in this case. If it were a plain, cloudless sky, I'd opt to leave the veg., and cut that sky.

Much better - though you may get dinged for "bad crop" /rule of third "violation". I like where you are going with this - rare to see a photo showing the full train - but not from a head on or 3/4 angle.

I'd give it a shot - note that reason to the screener (assuming they do in fact read those notes).

Otherwise - more sky, lower the train - (if possible), or redo with more of a 3/4 quarter angle (for RP purposes).

I like it.

Try again! RP has been willing to sporadically accept photos of a more panoramic aspect ratio from time to time. Take the latest edit and crop some of the grass /foreground out.

Well now, what's wrong with that? That's how I would've first uploaded to RP. And would do so now. And if that doesn't work, and you have the patience, panoramic is still an option if the "train is too small" in the scene.
