Sad to see, but its just another day at the office. And the train was only 27 cars long doing 50 mph... He couldnt wait another 30 seconds??? What an idiot.

Most people that run the gates dont get to tell anybody why they did it and they all wind up in the same place...

Totally idiotic. If that sounds insensitive, I dont really care.
27 cars would be approx 1350' plus what 2 engines? 190' tops?
Total length approx 1540' 73.3333333 feet per second...
20 seconds for the train to get thru the corssing...

Just stupid...
