Because we know you are not good enough at photoshop to be able to fake the light illuminating fake snow. You cant even crop or process your photos right, so you definitely cant fake illuminated snow.

Default real snow or not

I would in first place apologize and keep low profil.

Taking picture during snowfall can be special, depend on light you get in. I tried myself on a airport tour, a snow shower just came along. So everybody was trying out his equipment, a bit more demanding than sunshine.

Hope everybody cools down, sometimes we make a step out of the box, but still should have a chance to get back (if he wants).

regards, Peider

The photos that I posted in the original post were quickly pulled off Flickr. Sorry about the light issues, but I don't really have control over that when the good power runs around. In any case, I don't know why everyone has to hate on me, give it up.

I'm not hating on you, I am pointing out that you dont have the photoshop skills to do what some are accusing you of.

Is it considered poor taste to just open a new account? Seems I have seen several people that have more than one, with only small variations in how they list their name. Add a middle initial or something...

Doing that to get around a ban, I would think that would make you persona non gratia permanently.

That's never crossed my mind....good idea!

Thread closed, I have nothing more to say, everyone's free to let this die, or just..whatever.

Also, FOR ONCE, I agree with Chase about Sean's shot...

Good try, though Sean, I'll help you out if you want to do something more like that. I'll message you about it on Facebook.

It's not really a good try, it appears to be more of a grab shot. This is far from RP material, but just talking in general, I suppose it is a "good try".

The fact that you are now considering opening a new account and admitting it in an open forum is pretty much the reason why you still don't have any uploads here, I would say. You haven't seemed to learn from your past mistakes and are now apparently going to try new ones. I'd suggest getting an account somewhere else, like Flickr or RRPA, and letting RP go alone for a while.

Yes I have. Starting a new account isn't really that bad...a fresh start...And besides, there is a lot that can make me look like an asshole while behind the computer screen (Watch, you guys will backfire that statement right back at me) since there is no expression, and things are often difficult to explain, amongst other things.

Most places that is a perma-ban, if you are gonna do it, why admit it? Do you want the attention?

So what are they going to do? Ban my current Railpictures.net account, if I'm going to start a new one?

How dare them......

You're going to end up getting your IP banned. There is no coming back from that. Just stay cool and keep a low profile before find yourself on the wrong side of a burned bride. If you don't like the shots taken at you about the fake snow then leave. I don't know what else to tell you. You're going to have to have thicker skin than this to stay on this forum.

As much mystery as there seems to be about photo processing, are we really still burning witches?

I probably shouldn't have even mentioned it, especially since I don't visit these forums often enough to really give advice. I'd hate to see your troubles compounded by my suggestion Soo 6060 (sorry I don't know your real name!) so my limited value advice would be to quietly wait until someone official gets in touch with you. I do think that they will but they've probably got you in some kind of penalty period for now that might even have a time on it, and trying to sneak around it would likely make it worse. You can still post in the forums so you're not totally blacklisted yet, just be patient and keep photographing for now! -Arne
