Default Any Suggestions?

Hey all, been a long time since i've been on here. Went out to catch the PRR E units runnin through my area, super rare. Due to the early morning running the lighting wasn't exactly perfect. Now i can't go get this shot again any time soon (if ever) When i submitted this pic i didn't mention in the screener comment box about it being rare and maybe i should have? http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...&key=964637446

It may be rare to you and your area, but the E's are well represented on RP. The lighting is just plain rough too. Sorry about that.

I feel bad for you, but Loyd is dead on. The lighting is just plain too bad for a wedgie of this train. Also, define rare. It may be something you've never seen before and it may be rare for where you live, but there are 264 shots in the database of the 5711 leading the PRR Es. Rare would be if they came to Columbia and set up on the Congaree River for me. But if they had that lighting, they'd still be a no go.

One thing to keep in mind is that rarity does not equal RP material. If the lighting and exposure ain't workin, they ain't takin it. A nice catch, but certainly not RP material.

It's backlit, what dont you understand? Also sky horrendously blown out, that's not gonna look any better in B&W.

Bummer about the lighting. The train ran in poor lighting all day from the photos I have seen.

It is a tough one to swallow since I know this is a special run on a line that doesn't host any passenger service.

I was in the same boat in June. Just have to hope for a next time.
