Default Bad Cropping...

I submitted this picture
http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=362136

And it was rejected for Poor Cropping. I did crop the picture down a bit from the original and this is probably the best that I could come up with with keep things looking nice. Any tips on this one?

Thanks,
Tim

Personally, I would say that it is cropped too tight at the sides, it needs a bit of "breathing space".

Thanks for the reply.

I agree with you completely on that one. Here's the Original.

The original has more space on the top and bottom, not so much the sides though.

Take a look at some other rosters to see how it's properly done.
The pole on the right kills the shot IMO.

The pole is very unfortunate. Also, the lighting needs to be perfect for a roster shot. I would have taken a train shot, instead of a roster shot too. When I come to RP, I come to see trains, not a close up of one engine on a train. Leave the roster shots for the personal collection UNLESS there is somethng truly remarkable about the engine.

In the second shot, the second engine is cut off at a bad point, too and there's still not enough nose room on the right.
