Talking Do You Think They Saw Each Other?

And now its time to play another game of "do you think they saw each other?"

And the bonus round of "see anybody you know?"

That is more of a crowd then showed up for UP 844 heading out of town.

And in my opinion, one of the better shots from this circus.

And yes Loyd and I saw each other, in fact we spent the better part of the day in fairly close proximity.

Even if they were identical, which they arent, I could excuse it being a live steam engine, not a dead in tow spectacle

You and Loyd's shot are a lot better than those Bill linked

There have been a hand full of good shots of the UP 4014 move out of the ones I've seen posted on various sites. It's hard to get a good shot when there such a circus out there. I would have been part of the circus if I could have taken the day off. I think I would have been more interested in documenting the circus than the train.

And we spent the 15 minutes before it showed up cursing Mother Nature, only to have her give us a sucker hole 5 seconds before we shot..

"With foreground clutter no less and back lit."

Back lit? Not based upon the fence post shadows.

The fence.

And for those who don't get the "back lit" pun, I give up.
