Any hopes for this, or just leave this on Flickr?

Hi Reggie,

The shot is not super-sharp, but I have seen fuzzier pans get on. I think the real issue is that this is a really tight shot of a contemporary diesel-electric locomotive. With no other interesting elements in the frame, RP is going to be looking for good lighting. While the lighting in your shot is not terrible, it does look like mid-day and the lower portions of the locomotive (trucks, etc) are darker than RP typically likes. Shoot this with some nice, bright, low-angle sun, and it probably makes it.

Going off what Kevin stated. Go ahead and open your lens more to get more scenery. This can also assist in how the final pan comes out.

Thank you gentleman in your responses. Didn't have a lot of room to work with, but this was also my first attempt. Thank you gentleman. I will use your advice in the near future.
