the entire middle and top of the frame is in shadows, just for future reference.

You need more even lighting. Either is late evening sun or on a cloudy/common day. Like Loyd said, the entire middle and top are in shadow. This should be easy enough to redo in better lighting.

It was indeed late evening sun... I thought that the dark truck focused the attention on the HBD infrared sensors and made the truck a secondary element.

I'll re-shoot!
