Default Thoughts? Anything to do here?

Had an all time record in the response on this one... literally uploaded it and then clicked on the main member page and saw that I had zero pictures in the queue (I mean, no more than fifteen seconds passed).

Thought I must have not uploaded it correctly, but when I went to rejected photos, there it was already.

Anyway, is there any saving to be done here?

It's always been a personal favorite image of mine... probably because it was my first time in Toronto and I managed to pull it off without the glare that I got in the other images I took that day (was shooting through a window).

Should be an easy fix, as long as you have more at the top. I would crop off a bit from the bottom and add more at the top, this way we get to see more of the trainshed in the distance.

I don't recall window glare being much of a hurdle for you recently ...

Thanks Chris... Unfortunately I don't have anymore on the top, but I've trimmed some bottom and right and will give that a try.

Good color, reasonable composition, interesting equipment and setting ... appeal.

It's leveled against the verticle of the building pole/support behind the locomotive.

Lightbulb Since you got me into this......Charles

My thoughts:

I think you could get part of the image in if you were to crop width wise between the left hand margin and the intersection of the shadow on the car behind the power unit, or even at the end of that car.

Then size the vertical to match the page format at a width of 1024.

It won't be the same picture, but you could get the power in and most of the left side of the shot.

I had suspected you would get dinged on the "distracting shadow(s)" issue if you could past the initial rejection.

At this point in the game, I seem to have a wealth of knowledge built up as to what constitutes a rejection and why.

Thanks, HG... I was also thinking of lightening the shadow, but I have decided to give up on this one. Moving on.
