Default Peq...

A little surprised by this rejection. Thoughts?

One more thing...this one got rejected for noise and bad light so i'm assuming the attached won't make it either?

Thanks as always

The PEQ is a really interesting idea, but you didn't quite pull it off.

1) The locomotives in the mirror are way off to the side. You need to try again with the car parked in a way that you can have the image in the mirror framed properly, as if it was a picture all to itself.

2) The freight cars are an annoying level of blur. They either need to be razor sharp or really blurred, as if that was the intent.

Regarding the maybe submit, I'm not sure if it will get in, but the quality on it is definitely better than the quality on the rejected one.

I agree with Freericks about the PEQ you almost nailed it. About the other two, I dont see them making it on, because they are still dark, and if you lighten it anymore it will look horrible.

Putting aside whether or not it will ever make it, the rejection is well oversharpened, the attached shot looks good in that regard.

Well I tried the second one and the first submit it got hit with over sharpened, and then this:

Oh well there's always next time.

I strongly disagree with the rejection. I'm not sure if it will make it on because it is cloudy, but I think it is a really cool shot! That would make me mad if that was mine and it was rejected.

It is over saturated, also. Cool shot anyways.

And the photo is close to holy, due to all the halos.
