Default Bad Cropping

First post here on the forums for me. I usually don't argue about a rejection, but this one puzzled me. Is it worth playing screener roulette with, or to Flickr with it? Any advice is appreciated.

I think level and appeal.

Maybe a bit more breathing room on the right.

And then get ready for a possible foreground clutter if your re-submission is viewed with another pair of eyes.

Maybe they should fix it so the original screener stays with any future redo's. That would cure a lot of members beefs with the screening process inconsistency.

If you can add a little more on the right and some more sky, I think you should be good. The shot has a lot going for it: Rio Grande paint, good light, nice reflection... I actually like the "obstruction"-- its color matches the horizontal stripe on the unit, and I find the set of parallel lines they create together pretty visually appealing. I also like the vertical lines of rust on the diesel tank just below the similarly rusting obstructing object. Doesn't mean screeners will agree, but at least it didn't seem to be an issue with the screener who initially gave it the cropping rejection.

Foreground obstruction kills it even beyond cropping, I would keep this for Flickr.

Well now that I'm looking at it again, at least the colors kind of match.
