"I" was actually capturing the reflection of the desert in the black paint.

The frame you have seen is the last with the steam shooting out the two sides. Without that, it is even less appealing. Here is a frame where the train was much closer to me. Probably not level, didn't spend too much time on it.

Hey, that's a nice one. Why don't you submit that?

By the way, why do we see the picture AND the attachment link? Didn't I teach you how to avoid that?

Jim, I think the shot is fine, but not nice. Drab, due to the weather. Just a plume vert, poorly lit, and that drab building on the left doesn't help matters. I could certainly submit it but I am not just looking to up my count on RP.

I have forgotten how to drop the attachment link, sorry. Please remind me and at the same time tell Derek. And up your teaching skills so your students retain your expressed knowledge.

It's better overall than the one you did submit. Not a bad shot at all with a little extra processing.

Oh, that may be true; sometimes I can lock in a bit on a shot of interest to me only. Not particularly interested in the plume wedge, I guess. Perhaps down the road it will catch my fancy if I return to it. I'm still working on shots from that day.

After you have uploaded an attachment, close that window and go back to the post window. From there, click in the window where you want the photo to be (for instance, if you wanted to place the image between two paragraphs you've already typed), and then click on the paper clip icon, select your attachment and the attachment ID will then show up in brackets. Submit reply and there's your pic.

And I agree with Joe's post above.

That's a good shot, just add a bunch of noise so it looks like an old scanned photo and it should get accepted!

But it has the same compositional issues of the color version! What are you saying, sepia uber alles?

Actaully, that sould be sepia überschreibt alle Mängel. Isn't google translate fun!

And the neat thing about it is you can actually have text UNDER the photo.
