Default The sun might be a bit too high, but I'm not sure.

Got this shot just yesterday, and this is how it came out of the camera, haven't touched it in editing at all. Obviously, needs some brightening, sharpening, and the wires can just be clone-stamped out - those things, I'm not too worried about, I have software capable of that. I was about to start editing when I realized... maybe the sun is a bit too high? Just judging by the fact that the trucks on both locomotives are somewhat in shadow (although not fully), I'm not so sure. So... thoughts?

I always edit questionable pics such as yours before I let anyone see them, especially here on RP's forum. Kinda lets the cat out of the bag/tip's the screener's hand. Regardless, it has potential so give it a try. Definitely put some light on those trucks.

I'll never say never here because I get surprised often on what is accepted (including my turds), but I have doubt. It is high sun, coupled with a normal composition in a somewhat bland location.

And rejected for high sun. Not surprising. Oh well, I’ve got other shots ready to edit.

This one was a tossup. Recently they accepted a shot of a dirty weathered engine with the sun so high that the trucks were nearly invisible. [Did Elite help it get on? Who knows? ]
