Default Ok, poor esthetic quality...

What's so bad about a roundhouse shot like this? I've seen stuff like this before.

Its something they don't need at this time. why i don't know. But the shot needs work or re-shot, The GP is to dark and the steamer is cut off at the wheels, Back up some? or shoot it wider?

The image is a jumble of elements with poor separation between brighter and darker areas. A strong element in it is a handrail, not the most interesting thing. For me the angle is not great, doesn't feature the noses well. And the flash results in overly even light on the steam engine, everything seems one continuous body of gray. And the background is jumbled. It just does not work well as a shot, sorry, one person's opinion.

I took a similar shot of a similar loco from the exact same position this past summer. I used a tripod and "dragged" the shutter while I popped diffused flash onto it. Go back, try again!! It will be there the next time you visit in the EXACT same stall in the shed. Your personal goal should be that the flash looks natural with the ambient light. Play around and you'll nail it.
