I dont get the bad color on this shot, it is taken with in minutes of sun up.

It seems alot of bad color shots have been given out as of late.

I could go either way on the bad color. May have a hint of too much yellow. They may be thinking the shot shuold be closer to perfect being that it's a wedgie and the sun was hitting it pretty good. The cropping leaves the nose of the lead unit too close to the center for my tastes which the next screener may see, too.

Cropping may be an issue, as Joe mentioned, but I'd also like to add that it appears to need some contrast adjustment.

I think cropping is the main concern. Take some off the right and bottom.

Cool

For me, "Bad Color" issues usually go away if the exposure and contrast are set correctly.

In PS, I darkened your photo by the middle slider in Levels.

Also, as suggested, I took a crop of some of the bottom and right.

Also the sky is, I think, noisy? Check your file settings.

As is, sorry not for me; I think the shot has no center of interest.

Three things to try next time:

1. No shadows can be on the cars; they take away from the symmetry.
2. Have an interesting sky.
3. Have a locomotive.
