Default Once again, PEQ

Little to do with this rejection, maybe try the colour version. I kinda like it anyway:http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...74&key=8177317

Thank you.

This shot would probably get in if this was highwayspeedlimitsignpictures.net and not railpictures.net

Hey, there's a tiny train down there, isn't enough?

For RP purposes, neither the train nor the sign is sharp, the light is poor, and the B/W conversion is uninteresting. B/W is about interesting contrasts and you don't have that.

Perhaps worthy of a reshoot, if only for yourself. This isn't, by far, the best such effort at this location with this composition. Sorry to be harsh. Try it again, make it better.

There's no such thing as harsh criticism, I'm fine with it; if I asked you to tell me what you think was because I trust your opinion and appreciate your help. That's what this forum is for.

Light was poor indeed, that's the reason I converted to black and white in the first place. Also, I would have liked a more RR related sign rather than the speed sign. That would have improved the composition, I guess.

Thank you very much.

The issue here is that the sign has no relevance to the train, had it been a railroad sign it may have had a shot.
