How didn't this get a poor aesthetic quality? The composition is pretty bad considering a few horses are chopped off and the wb seems bad too warm and unbalanced.

The light post looks level.

Speaking of unlevel, I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. Every vertical is leaning to the left.

This is one of those photos that would probably be impossible to make look level - even it it really was perfectly level.

I'm so glad I read the "Remarks and Notes" for this one.
I had no idea that road numbers were, like, something important!

I'm pretty sure I dozed off half way through reading that.

I thought the numbers were the train crew's lucky numbers.

I think we've all tried to play up the description for a borderline PAQ photo. I've never seen anyone try that hard though haha

This was one of the top24 shots. Not only is the engine centered, the color is strange. All of the blues are de-saturated.

EXIF shows it's an iPhone shot.

Apple must have really processed the image strangely. But, it's not Apple's fault that the image was composed poorly haha

Interestingly enough this showed up now, same day, same train, So you can see the difference. Looking in the shadows on this "I see" a little blue cast which I find perfectly fine.

The first one as noted took all the blue out. No way for me to know, may have just been the way it was originally submitted but I know myself I will get the color hue rejection. Obviously a lot of ways to correct but the cheap(fastest) way is to desaturate but I feel the cure is worse than the disease. I just had one rejected for too dark, then color hue. Then trying to correct I got another rejection. Very annoying since I did what I didn't want to and still rejected so I go on hiatus for a while.

Can you say GRAINY and NOISEY....really worthy of the cut and that many views? I opened it just because I thought the thumbnail couldn't be the same as the shot .
