This one was eye candy for me.

Rainbow Canyon is a place I went several years and always thought how great it would be for a UP passenger train. Ted doesn't post too much but can be anywhere, anytime, something I enjoy doing.

It's quite stunning. I should have devoted a little time to rail fanning in January, but there was too many other photographic targets to hit.
PS, are apologies in order for the deletion of your rejection thread?

November is fantastic with the trees in the wash turning, but days are short and shadows creep in fast. Wish I had spent more time with the depot, wonder what could do now digital. Here is depot with little snow in December. The other thing I should maybe avoid.

Removed? An innocuous thread if there ever was one.

It seems that with admin being more active in the forums any call out of an accepted photo results in the thread being deleted.

Yeah I didn't see that, just refreshed the forum page and the thread was gone so that may explain it.

I wondered what happened to cause the demise of that thread. I didn't see the last post, but my guess would be the ambassador to Ohio.

I didn't see anything, as it was gone when I checked in while at work. Oh well.

Deleting the entire thread is a bit extreme. Why not just delete the offending post(s)?

Did they delete that entire thread because I called out Matt Donnelleys crappy photo?

I like that with just a bit more light on the mountains. A little tight at left and right. Got a slightly wider view?

One of my early experiments with a signal at night in the snow. Needless to say it didn't work too well

Some of my nuclear blast big flashbulb experiments revealed just how many bugs were flying around in the summer!

Spent a few Summer nights along the Pokey with flashes and bugs are everywhere when you're close to the Tug Fork River.

As a side note, someone pointed out an interesting status for Troy if you look a few threads up...

With admin participating more, I expected that it was only a matter of time. He just could not find anything positive to contribute, and his endless picking apart of other contributors' work had to be grating to admin.

I really don't like to see anyone banned. The forum goes dead for days at a time without the likes of Holloran Grade and that Western Slope guy. Maybe a six-month suspension for first offenders?

A Mike D, Rat, and Troy debate thread would be epic.

You have to throw HG (Billy Gevo Stonewall) into the debate as well. His photography (and fierce defense thereof) would be a jump off point for the other 3.
My what fun it would be.
